01，窑制工作室的第一件必要装备就是防尘面具！
漫天飞舞的石膏粉和硅粉对肺部的伤害非常大，所以为了能活的长久一点，还是要好好注意保护自己！
02. Plaster and Silica flour.
The plaster used can be any of the commonly available pottery plasters. Silica, which is hazardous material that can cause silicosis (a lung disease), is generally used in powder form. Usually we use equal parts of each of these two ingredients for traditional mold mixture. (Especially when used in small molds)
02，石膏与硅粉。
通常石膏与硅粉的混合比例为一比一，但也会根据石膏的尺寸大小和需要的软硬度做出相应的调整。其中吸入硅粉会导致矽病，一定要注意戴面具防护！
03. Sculpting Tools.
These tools come in various shapes, sizes and styles and are used to cut, scrape or shape the modeling material to create a specific effect. The ones I lay out here are some of my favorites. :) ❤️
03，制模工具。
在初步制作泥稿的阶段，可以按自己的喜好选用任意制模工具。通过切，刮，塑形等等做出理想的泥稿。以上是我自己平时喜欢用的真爱特选。❤️
04. Measuring scale.
a, weight the water+container
b, pour water into the mold until it reaches the desired level
c, weigh the water+container again and calculate the difference. So you will have the amount of water needed (in grams).
d, the amount of water x the specific gravity of glass = the amount of glass you need (in grams).
e, yay! 🌟
04，称重。
一，称水与容器总重
二，将水倒入石膏中至理想高度
三，再称水与容器总重，计算出与最初总重量的差值，即为所需水的重量
四，所需水重 x 膨胀系数 = 所需玻璃重量
五，撒花～💫
05. Rubber
When Part A & Part B are mixed together, the rubber self thickens to a creamy consistency ideal for making blanket or glove molds of complex objects. ( use suitable release when needed ;)
05，硅胶
（有的时候要加一些稀胶稀释用）加固化剂调和。硅胶模最适合翻制细节很多的对象，可反复使用。适合留版和大批量制作。翻模前配合脱模剂一起使用最佳！:)
06. Wax
After we have the plaster mold made out of the object. By using the "lost-wax" method, a model can be made from wax and after investment the wax can be steamed away in a steamer. Ideally, the model is hollow and thus much easier to remove from the mold and less likely to break down the mold.
06，蜡
石膏模制好后，我们可以根据“失蜡法”用蜡来复制原件。随后将蜡在蒸蜡机中脱模，从而得到空心的石膏模以备烧制。蜡模最好为空心的，其一以节省时间，其二以防止蒸气过热过久损坏石膏模。
07. Wax Tools
With a set of various wax tools~ now you are all set for cutting / carving / trimming / welding / sculpting / etc...! Have fun with wax and make sure you wash your hands and clean up after the mess ;)

一整套闪闪发光的修蜡刀躺在眼前～不好好切/雕/修/接/塑起来你都不好意思跟人打招呼有没有！快别刷朋友圈了快去修蜡吧少年～✨
08. Steamer
Once the mold is built, we will steam the wax out with a wallpaper steamer (or a fancy big steamer) over a pan of water. As soon as steam starts coming from the tube, wax will run out of the mold and into the pan. The thinner the wax, the faster the melting process will be. After it's done, the wax could be recycled through the recycling process. (Bye bye water 💦)
08，脱蜡机
模子翻好之后，略等若干小时我们就可以用脱蜡机（能出蒸汽就行）将模子里面的蜡蒸出来。通常下方会放置一个盛水的托盘，以便使用后进行蜡的回收。蜡越薄蒸得越快越干净～通过调节出气口的角度和转石膏模具也可以加快工作效率。回收过程较漫长，主要是需要将混入的水全部再挥发出去～💦💦💦
09. Gloves
The heavy duty rubber gloves are always handy while checking your molds in the steamer~ (or doing the messy cleaning ups) and... I ALWAYS get little cuts from nowhere in the kiln shop... 😓 to have a pair of glove is not a bad idea... (personal experience tho... 🙄)

厚厚的隔热橡胶手套在脱蜡阶段查看模具和污污的大扫除中最有用了！以及…只要进石膏室干活我就一定会莫名负伤（摔！）…所以常备手套总是没错的…信我！😑
10. Buckets&Bowls
We use all kinds of containers in the kiln shop~ For mixing, measuring, saving extra materials, etc... just couldn't stop drawing one after another once I started. Enjoy mold making~
10，“锅碗瓢盆”
石膏室里最不能缺的就是大大小小的桶啊盆啊小罐子啊之类的，调石膏称重储料哪一步都不能少～所以就画了个小系列…嗯～大家翻模愉快！
